OPTIMIZING LOGISTICS WITH THE POWER OF
Transportation, Travel & Tourism
Digital
A leading company in integrated logistics services with 50 years in the market specialized in transportation and handling of sea and air cargo, offering complete solutions in terms of customs clearance, warehousing, container rental and refrigeration services.
The company worked together with London Consulting Group to consolidate its data and convert it into centralized data warehouses to develop specific management indicators for each area of the company.
To achieve this centralization, a DataMart was jointly developed for the infrastructure and graphics to better visualize the management indicators.

CONSOLIDATE SOURCES OF INFORMATION FOR THE DEFINITION OF EFFECTIVE INDICATORS
The main challenge faced by the organization was the correct definition of management indicators, since the sources of information were not identified to achieve a good structure, necessary to define how the performance of each area of the organization would be evaluated.
- Unmapped information sources for the definition of management indicators.
- Generation of KPIs from the use of Business Intelligence tools to evaluate the performance of the different areas and define the variable compensation of personnel.
- Leverage information for decision making and focus on results.
As the project developed, the company embarked on a transformational journey with London Consulting Group to redefine the landscape through efficient operations, strengthened leadership and a culture of continuous improvement.

The logistics company, together with London Consulting Group, mapped the routes to obtain data from its operational systems to develop centralized data warehouses and define management indicators.

- Transformation of the mindset in all areas of the organization towards a focus on results to identify deviations in the operation.
